The Bermuda Triangle is a place of mystery and intrigue… and apparently an advanced civilization. This production takes a unique look at the many bizarre and wild ideas associated with the  Bermuda Triangle. It aligns those stories with a fictional isolationist society that has cultural influence from around the world providing a great blend of tribal themes and modern electronic sounds.

We view this show from the perspective of someone who has crash landed on this unknown landmass and their journey through this island. Movement 1 allows us to peek into this thriving society with a full ensemble impact drum cadence. Movement 2 has us traveling through the jungle of this unknown land eventually leading to the intruder being discovered, chased, and captured. Movement 3 has our protagonist tied up in a procession while a powerful chant echoes through the ensemble. Movement 4 features a full ensemble chant climaxing with the sacrifice of the trespasser.

Notes about the Show

• This show features a written part for 3-5 large impact drum players that are staged on the floor and would take part in visual choreography as well as impact drums for all front ensemble parts.
